Have been trying to buy tickets for Charlton game all day and what a palaver it has turned out to be.If you book online you have to have a log in number and password which is supposed to be emailed to you and then you can log in to buy tickets. Well been waiting since nine o clock this morning for an email i never got and in the end done it over the phone without being able to pick my seats (online there is plan of ground) i thought the club said they were making the ticketing system easier just seems the same as always to me but i must say this is my first experience of said new system so maybe its just sheer weight of numbers causing the problems. Also at the moment it is only allowing you to buy adult tickets online. But on a positive note according to bloke at ticket office game is selling out fast so should be a good un.And one and half quid booking fee per ticket. |

I have bought dozens of tickets on there this season, including my half season ticket and 2 extra tickets for Charlton and I think it's fantastic. I remember it taking a bit to actually be able to log on in the first place, but after that it is great. You can also see how the seats are selling, and for Charlton there are already 4 blocks slod out.
Also, there is only a booking fee for a handful of away games. All home games and most away games are completely free, including delivery. Give it another go, it will be worth it. Must have saved me about 6 hours of queing all told at the ticket office before games, not to mention its 2 quid cheaper each time too. |

Thanks for the info quigsy i still have not recieved email with log on details so i have had to book my tickets over the phone and i had to pay a £1.50 booking fee per ticket and i have complained to the club and of course they have not bothered to reply either but ive got my tickets now.I dont normally have a problem because i just walk up and pay on day but obviously all ticket games are different. |

I thought i'd take a look just to see what the overall experience is like even though i already have a season ticket.
I needed to activate my account apparently but still awaiting the email since 10pm last night. Not a great start. |

It might be worth having a word with either Andy Ambler, Pete Garston and the MSC about this. The online ticket service is actually really good and will make an awful lot of people's lives easier. It has to be said though, it has had a lot of problems. Loads of people have been complaining about not being able to use it. Also, there's loads of niggley little flaws with it, like you have to log in correctly twice in a row before it will actually let you be logged in.
With the Charlton game coming up, it really needs to be sorted. |
